SKZOO is Stray Kids’ official character line, and the eight SKZOO names are Wolf Chan (Bang Chan), Leebit (Lee Know), Dwaekki (Changbin), Jiniret (Hyunjin), Han Quokka (Han), BbokAri (Felix), PuppyM (Seungmin) and FoxI.Ny (I.N). Each character is an animal picked for how fans and members see that member, from the leader’s wolf to Felix’s chick.
STAY is the name of the Stray Kids fandom, and most new STAYs meet the animals before the members. It usually starts with a bunny with suspicious front teeth on a friend’s backpack. Here is each character, why that member got it, how to spell it and where to find the official ones.
In short
- Wolf Chan is Bang Chan’s wolf, Leebit is Lee Know’s rabbit, and Dwaekki is Changbin’s pig-rabbit.
- Jiniret is Hyunjin’s ferret, and Han Quokka is Han’s quokka, the smiling Australian marsupial.
- BbokAri is Felix’s chick, PuppyM is Seungmin’s puppy, and FoxI.Ny is I.N’s fox.
- If you are buying for someone, pick the character of their favorite member, not the cutest animal on the shelf.
What is SKZOO?
SKZOO is the set of eight animal characters JYP Entertainment created for Stray Kids, one for each member. The name joins “SKZ,” the group’s short form, with “zoo.” According to the Korea JoongAng Daily, SKZOO is “a set of animal characters based on Stray Kids members.” BTS has a similar line, the BT21 characters, which the members drew themselves.
The characters were teased on the official Stray Kids YouTube channel in late December 2020. They then danced through an animated “God’s Menu (SKZOO ver.)” music video in early February 2021. “God’s Menu” was the title track of the 2020 album GO LIVE, and the cartoon version launched the official goods. Each animal came from the way fans and members kept comparing that member to it.

SKZOO soon grew into a full merch line with its own events. JYP’s two SKZOO pop-up stores in Seoul drew 21,700 visitors between May 30 and June 15, 2022, per the same report.
All 8 SKZOO names and members at a glance
Each SKZOO name pairs one Stray Kids member with one animal. Most names are a pun on the member’s name plus the animal’s word.
| SKZOO name | Member | Animal | Where the name comes from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wolf Chan | Bang Chan | Wolf | “Wolf” + Chan |
| Leebit | Lee Know | Rabbit | “Lee” + rabbit |
| Dwaekki | Changbin | Pig-rabbit | Korean dwaeji (pig) + tokki (rabbit) |
| Jiniret | Hyunjin | Ferret | His nickname “Jinnie” + ferret |
| Han Quokka | Han | Quokka | Han + quokka |
| BbokAri | Felix | Chick | “Bok” from Yongbok + Korean byeongari (chick) |
| PuppyM | Seungmin | Puppy | Puppy + the M of Seungmin |
| FoxI.Ny | I.N | Fox | Fox + I.N |
In the US keyword data we pulled in October 2026, the most searched character is BbokAri, with about 12,100 searches a month. Wolf Chan, Leebit, Dwaekki and Han Quokka follow at about 9,900 each. Jiniret gets 8,100 and PuppyM 5,400, while FoxI.Ny trails at 1,900 because fans spell it so many ways.
Each SKZOO character and the member behind it
Every character carries a reason, and Kprofiles’ SKZOO profile keeps the most complete public record of them, listed here in lineup order.
Wolf Chan (Bang Chan)
Wolf Chan is Bang Chan’s character, a wolf, because he leads the pack and has a long habit of sending the wolf emoji when he texts. The wolf stuck so well that fans now use the emoji as shorthand for him.

Leebit (Lee Know)
Leebit is Lee Know’s character, a rabbit, named by joining “Lee” with “rabbit.” His front teeth are often compared to a bunny’s, and Leebit’s sly expression is a nod to his mischievous personality.
Dwaekki (Changbin)
Dwaekki is Changbin’s character, a pig and rabbit hybrid, and its name blends the Korean words dwaeji (pig) and tokki (rabbit). According to Kprofiles, it comes from a clay sculpture Changbin made that looked like both animals, which English-speaking fans shorten to “pabbit.”
Jiniret (Hyunjin)
Jiniret is Hyunjin’s character, a ferret, and its name joins his nickname “Jinnie” with “ferret.” The long, graceful ferret fits his height, his looks and the fluid way he dances.

Han Quokka (Han)
Han Quokka is Han’s character, a quokka, the small Australian marsupial that always seems to be smiling. Fans have compared his full, round cheeks to a quokka (and to a squirrel) for years. The name just puts his stage name in front of the animal.
BbokAri (Felix)
BbokAri is Felix’s character, a chick, and the name joins “Bok” from Yongbok, Felix’s Korean name, with byeongari, the Korean word for chick. The bright yellow chick is a nod to Felix’s sunny, upbeat personality.
PuppyM (Seungmin)
PuppyM is Seungmin’s character, a puppy, named with “puppy” plus the M of Seungmin. He has been compared to a puppy since the group’s early days, which makes this the least surprising match in the lineup.
FoxI.Ny (I.N)
FoxI.Ny is I.N’s character, a fox, and the name hides his stage name inside “foxy.” I.N (real name Yang Jeongin) is the youngest member, and fans have long compared his eyes to a fox’s. The dot in the middle is why the name gets misspelled so often.
How to spell and say the SKZOO names
The official SKZOO names mix capitals, dots and Korean romanization, so fans type them in several ways. Any spelling below finds the right character in a search, but the official one belongs on a gift tag.
| Official spelling | How fans often type it | Say it like |
|---|---|---|
| Wolf Chan | wolfchan | wolf chan |
| Leebit | leebit, lee bit | lee-bit |
| DWAEKKI | dwaekki, dwaeki | dweh-kee |
| Jiniret | jiniret, jinniret | jin-ee-ret |
| HAN QUOKKA | han quokka, hanquokka | han kwok-ah |
| BbokAri | bbokari, bokari | bbok-ah-ree |
| PuppyM | puppy m, puppym | puppy em |
| FoxI.Ny | foxiny, foxi.ny | fox-ee-nee |
The double consonants in BbokAri and Dwaekki are tense Korean sounds, a little sharper than a plain b or k. Nobody at a merch table will correct an English speaker on them.
SKZOO editions: why your Leebit doesn’t look like your friend’s
The eight base characters never change, but their outfits do. JYP dresses them for each era (a comeback period with its own album, look and story), tour and fan event. That is why two Leebit charms can look nothing alike and both be official.
| Edition | Where it comes from | At lightstick.shop today |

| Heart characters | The MAXIDENT era, 2022 | Not in stock |

The members have also worn life-size SKZOO costumes during comebacks, and the 2023 “5-STAR” era got a full SKZOO version of its music video. The most recent edition came from “STAY in Our Little House,” the group’s sixth official fan meeting. Sports Kyunghyang reported it would run over two weekends in March and April 2026.
Official SKZOO merch: plush, charms and keychains
Official SKZOO merch comes in three main formats, picked by where it will live: a shelf, a bag or a set of keys.
๐งธ
Plush
Original and mini SKZOO plush are the display pieces, released in batches by character and edition.
๐
Charms
Silicone and acrylic bag charms are the everyday option, small enough to clip on a backpack or a pouch.
๐
Keychains
Acrylic keychains print the character flat, which makes them the lightest and easiest to gift in a card.
At lightstick.shop, the four SKZOO charm and keychain lines we carry are all official JYP pieces at $9.99, and three of them cover every member. We don’t have SKZOO plush in stock right now (our plush pouch is sold out too), so for a plush, check JYP’s official stores first.
To tell official SKZOO from fan-made, look for the SKZOO name and the JYP licence on the tag or backing card. Be wary of a full set of eight plush priced below one official charm. Our guide on how to tell official merch from fakes walks through the same checks for Stray Kids’ lightstick.
๐ Holiday Light-Up: from November 1 to December 31, orders of $75 or more get $10 off automatically at checkout. It goes up to $20 off from $140 and $35 off from $290. Two SKZOO charms plus the Stray Kids Nachimbong Ver.2 come to $77.97, which already reaches the first tier.
The two easiest SKZOO picks are the Little House charm keyring and the Black Tee acrylic keychain. Both come in every member’s character, shown here next to the lightstick.
Which SKZOO should you pick?
Pick the character for the member, not for the cutest animal, because a STAY reads the character as the person behind it. If you know their bias (the member they like most), their character is the gift. If you don’t, a whole-group piece is the safer choice.
| Your situation | What to get | Price |
|---|---|---|
| You know their bias | That member’s character charm (Little House or Black Tee) | $9.99 |
| You don’t know the bias | Stray Kids mini lightstick keychain | $29.99 |
| They are going to a concert | Stray Kids lightstick, the Nachimbong Ver.2 | $57.99 |
| A bigger gift | Nachimbong Ver.2 pack with the mini and a SKZOO keyring | $92.98 |
The Nachimbong is the official Stray Kids lightstick, the compass-shaped light fans wave together at concerts. It has been our best-selling Stray Kids item over the last 90 days. If you are wondering whether other groups have one too, see does your K-pop group have an official lightstick.

Frequently Asked Questions
Once the eight names click, the merch stops looking like a random zoo. It starts reading like a lineup, which is exactly what JYP had in mind.
