Does your group have a lightstick? The full K-pop lightstick list
You found the group two weeks ago. Then a fancam — a fan-shot concert video — showed you a crowd holding the same glowing object, in the same colour, moving at the same time. The next question writes itself. Does your group have one, and did you miss a memo? Below is the full K-pop lightstick list, 50 groups deep, with one straight answer each.
A lightstick is a group’s official concert light. The company behind the group licenses and sells it, so it has nothing in common with a glow stick from a party shop. Most lightsticks carry a name, and most of those names end in bong — 봉, simply the Korean word for stick. That is where Bang Bong, Candy Bong and Carat Bong come from. The other term you will meet below is the fandom name, the official name for a group’s fans: ARMY, BLINK, STAY, ONCE, CARAT.
🔗 New to the object itself? Start with What Is a K-pop Lightstick? — it covers what the thing actually does before you worry about which one to get.

“No” is a normal answer
Here is the part nobody in this corner of the internet says out loud. Plenty of groups do not have an official lightstick yet, including some very large ones. A few have something else entirely — ITZY, for example, carry an official light ring rather than a stick. Not having one yet doesn’t mean your group is small, or that you picked wrong. Instead, it means their company hasn’t gotten to it. In fact, the whole category is younger than most people assume: the first one arrived in 2006.
The table below covers 50 groups. Skip to your group →

The Lightstick Database
Eight columns, 50 groups, sorted alphabetically. The second column is the one you came for: Yes, No, or the one honest edge case, Light ring. We pull every price from our live catalogue on the day we update this page, rather than copying a figure from somewhere else. Where a cell reads Unconfirmed, however, no source we trust would confirm it, so we are not going to guess. Release years cause the most trouble — for example, not one major reference page in this niche dates a lightstick, which is exactly why the column exists.

One note on stock, because a reference table that sends you to a dead page is worse than no table at all. SEVENTEEN and IU are between restocks today, so those two rows point at the collection instead of the product. Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM, RIIZE and THE BOYZ are each down to 20 units or fewer.
🔗 Not ready for a full-size lightstick? The mini lightstick and keyring collection is where most new fans start — same licence, a third of the size, a fraction of the price.
Groups that don’t have an official lightstick (yet)
These groups come up constantly. As of July 2026 we could not confirm an official lightstick for any of them, so we name them here instead of handing each one a table row that would say nothing thirteen times over: BABYMETAL, Wave to Earth, Dreamcatcher, Eric Nam, EVERGLOW, KARD, KICKFLIP, ONEUS, The Rose, XIKERS, 1VERSE, ALL DAY PROJECT and KIIIKIII. Several of them tour regularly and have done for years. Even so, no lightstick.
Two cases need spelling out, because both come up more than the rest combined.
ITZY is the argument everyone has. MIDZY — ITZY’s fandom — do have an official light. It is a ring you hold like a tambourine, not a stick on a handle. JYP licences it, it is real, and it will not look like anything else in the venue. That is a design decision rather than an oversight, and the table above gives it its own answer.

Red Velvet, meanwhile, sat on our shortlist of groups without one, and it should not have. ReVeluv — Red Velvet’s fandom — have the Kim Mam Bong, named in August 2018 after kimchi mandu, or kimchi dumplings, because of the shape. We caught it before this page went live and corrected it. That is exactly what the next section is about.
How we verify this list (and how to tell us we’re wrong)
Every row goes through the same three checks. First, we cross-reference existence and version history against official artist and agency announcements, then against the public fan references that have tracked this subject longest. Second, prices for stocked groups come straight from our live catalogue on the day of the update, never from a saved figure. Third, we check each fandom name against the announcement that introduced it, because several have changed — ILLIT went from LILLY to GLLIT, for example, and FIFTY FIFTY from Hunnies to TWENY.
Unconfirmed means exactly that. It is not a no, and it is certainly not a placeholder for something we will guess later. Rather, it means two independent sources disagreed, or no source we trust said anything at all. Release year is the thinnest field in this entire subject — not one of the major reference pages dates a lightstick — so most of that column starts as Unconfirmed, and we fill it in one row at a time.
If a row is wrong, tell us. A dated announcement or an official store listing is enough, and the correction goes in on the next pass rather than the next quarter.

Lightstick questions new fans actually ask
BIGBANG. Their Bang Bong arrived in 2006 and set the template everything else copied. We tell the full story in the BIGBANG lightstick guide.
Most do, but not all. The name usually ends in bong, simply the Korean word for stick, and a fan vote decides it more often than the company does. For example, newer groups sometimes ship the product first and name it months later. Where the table says Unconfirmed, that is the situation.
Nothing, if you don’t want to. In practice, venues are full of people with no lightstick at all, and the wave still works around them. We go through the options in do you need a lightstick at a K-pop concert.
Check the hologram sticker, the serial code and whether it pairs with the group’s app. However, a counterfeit will usually pass on looks and fail on sync. Our full checklist is in how to tell if your lightstick is official.
Nobody has an exact number, and anyone quoting one is guessing. Groups debut every month, companies retire old versions quietly, and English-language coverage of solo releases barely exists. This table covers 50 groups, and it grows on every monthly re-check.
The two lightsticks people ask about most
Two of these come up more than the rest — the one with the longest version history, and the one that started the whole category.
Last updated: July 2026
Last updated 31 July 2026. We re-check this table in the first week of every month: new debuts, new versions, price changes, and any row still sitting on Unconfirmed. Additionally, a new lightstick announcement or a price move in our catalogue triggers a re-check straight away, rather than waiting for the first of the month.
That date is doing real work. The two biggest reference lists for this topic last changed in August and September 2024. As a result, every group that has debuted since then is missing from both. A list like this is only worth the month on it.

If your group came back as No, that is the least interesting fact about them.
