CORTIS Official Lightstick: Release Date, What’s in the Box & How to Sync It

Yes, CORTIS has one official lightstick: the CORTIS official lightstick is a candle-shaped stick made by FANLIGHT for BIGHIT MUSIC. It was revealed on July 8, 2026, went on sale on Weverse Shop on July 13, and the current Weverse batch ships November 18–25, 2026 (Korea time).

You found CORTIS sometime this year, then the candle memes found you, and now five shops quote five different release dates for the same stick. A lightstick is the official light fans wave at concerts, and each group designs its own (here’s what a K-pop lightstick is).

Weverse Shop, the official store run by BIGHIT MUSIC’s parent company HYBE, sells it as a pre-order (you pay now, it ships with the next batch), and the authenticity checks below come from our guide on how to tell if your lightstick is official.

In short

  • CORTIS has one official lightstick, nicknamed “the candle,” and no second version exists yet.
  • Every shop shows a different release date because each one prints the date of its own batch.
  • The official box holds the stick, 5 photocards, 2 stickers, a dust bag, a strap and a manual.
  • It runs on three AAA batteries, which aren’t in the box, and pairs with HYBE’s free app.

Does CORTIS have an official lightstick?

Yes, CORTIS has exactly one official lightstick, its first, so there is no version to choose between. A version (Ver.1, Ver.2) is a later redesign of a group’s lightstick, and CORTIS hasn’t released one as of October 2026.

CORTIS is the five-member boy group BIGHIT MUSIC debuted on August 18, 2025, according to Soompi. Their fandom is called COER, a name announced on Weverse in November 2025 that blends “COR,” from CORTIS, with “-er,” the people who stand with them.

What it looks like, and why fans call it “the candle”

It’s a slim, earthy column with a clear center that shows the group’s name, as Soompi described the July 8 teaser. The official Weverse Shop listing gives its size as 3.4 × 3.4 × 25.7 cm, in ABS and PC plastic.

Most lightsticks put a glowing shape on a handle, but this one looks more like a candle in a holder, and Koreaboo reported a divided first reaction that made the comparison stick.

💡 Worth knowing: in lightstick.shop’s own Google Search Console data for September and October 2026, shoppers find our CORTIS pages by typing “cortis candle lightstick” and even just “cortis candle.”

CORTIS official lightstick release date: why every shop shows a different one

The stick first went on sale on July 13, 2026 and ships in batches, so each listing prints the date of its own batch. Here are all seven dates, checked on October 30, 2026.

Nov 18–25, 2026 (KST)Weverse Shop’s current pre-order shipsYou order on Weverse Shop today

The date on the listing tells you who’s selling it, not when CORTIS released it. Weverse Shop is the source, retailers pre-order against its batches, and resellers print whatever they can promise.

Which date applies to you

  • Official store (Weverse Shop): the window on the product page is your shipping date, currently November 18–25, 2026 (KST).
  • Retailer pre-order: the shop ships once its own stock lands, plus processing time (KPlace quotes 5–7 business days).
  • Reseller “in stock”: the date is the reseller’s own promise, so check reviews and box contents before you pay.

What’s in the CORTIS lightstick box

An official CORTIS lightstick box holds the stick, its package, 5 photocards, 2 stickers, a dust bag, a strap and a user manual, according to the Weverse Shop listing. The three AAA batteries it runs on are not included by any seller we checked.

Photocards are collectible member photos at trading-card size, and this table doubles as your checklist.

⚠️ Heads-up: a missing photocard isn’t automatically a red flag, because the US retailer KPOP USA marks the stickers and photocards as first-press only, meaning the first production run, so a later batch can arrive without them.

How much does the CORTIS lightstick cost?

Weverse Shop lists it at $35.05 before tax and shipping, one per account (checked October 30, 2026). Retailers charge more because they import it and hold stock, so the price depends on the seller as much as the date does.

SellerPriceWhen it ships
Weverse Shop (official store)$35.05 plus tax and shippingNov 18–25, 2026 (KST)
KPlace (US retailer)$69.99About Nov 23, 2026
Resellers on Google’s first pageAbout $55 to $105 (Oct 9, 2026)Their own promise
lightstick.shop$59.99In stock now

Weverse’s price works as the floor, so a listing at $15 or $20 isn’t a bargain on the same product but a different product. If you’d rather not wait for a pre-order batch, the CORTIS lightstick we carry is $59.99 and in stock, and its listing spells out its box contents.

How to connect and sync your CORTIS lightstick

You connect it over Bluetooth through HYBE’s free app: home pairing takes a two-second button press, and concert syncing happens in the app’s Concert Mode.

Before you start

You need three fresh AAA alkaline batteries and the app, called CORTIS Official Light Stick on the App Store and Google Play and published by HYBE.

Pair it at home (Bluetooth mode)

  1. Switch the lightstick off before you start the pairing sequence.
  2. Press and hold both buttons on the handle together for 2 seconds.
  3. Wait for the light to blink blue, which means it’s in Bluetooth mode.
  4. Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth, open the app and connect to the stick.

These steps come from the app’s store listing, which also asks you to install firmware updates.

At a concert (Concert Mode)

At a show, the venue’s system changes every paired stick’s color with the stage, which is what fans mean by syncing. Concert Mode lists upcoming concerts and whether pairing is required, so pair before you arrive, since crowds slow it down.

💡 Pro tip: pack three spare AAA batteries, because the app’s listing says weak batteries can make the stick fade or flash the wrong colors mid-show, and it stays paired if you swap them during the concert.

The four modes, in one line each

  • Default Mode: switch it on and it glows, with no phone needed.
  • Color Shaking Mode: shake the stick and the color shifts on its own.
  • Bluetooth Mode: your phone controls the color through the official app.
  • Concert Mode: the venue controls it in sync with the stage.

Is your CORTIS lightstick real? Three quick checks

You can check most of it at home with the box, the labels and the app, and since September authenticity has been the CORTIS question lightstick.shop customers ask us most often.

  1. The box: compare it with the checklist above, where the stick, strap and outer box are always included.
  2. The labels: the official listing names FANLIGHT as the maker and model code CRTV101 (KC R-R-1EL-CRTV101, FCC ID 2A9BA-CRTV101), so marks on your box should match.
  3. The app: if the official app never finds the blinking stick with fresh batteries, contact the seller while you can still return it.

Getting started as a new COER

Order from Weverse Shop if you want the official box and can wait until late November, and pick a retailer if a specific date matters more than the price.

If you’d like something CORTIS to hold in the meantime, the CORTIS collection at lightstick.shop has 15 items, including a mini lightstick keychain for $29.99 that hangs on a bag. If you’d rather start with the music, CORTIS’s debut EP from 2025, COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES (CORTIS Ball Ver.), is still on sale at lightstick.shop for $40, with the title track “What You Want” on it.
